Our small business focuses on the value of cooking and eating food made from scratch.  The business was built on the basis of infusing the culinary arts with herbalism to create foods that nourish and heal.  We prioritize supporting local farmers and other small businesses as well as using foraged wild foods and gleaning otherwise unused produce throughout our productive region, in coastal Northern California.

We have made a commitment to package our products in 100-percent compostable packaging to avoid contributing to landfill waste.  Our glass rebate program encourages reusing, instead of recycling, to do the same.  Although we are not yet a certified organic product, we make our products almost entirely with certified organic ingredients, or ingredients produced without the use of synthetic additives.
